Big Valley Moonrise" reworked oil landscape painting

Not sure if I improved this painting....the original was a bit dark and without a real focal point so I threw it on the easel after a cup of strong Starbucks coffee and started to play with it...(Don't try this at home!)....I think the new version has more for the viewer to work with.....

Robin,
I like the mood in the reworked version. It worked!

Starbucks huh? I know you advised not to "try this at home". What if I went to an industrial park?

LOVE the newer version! Love that glow/halo around the moon.

I really like the changes you made. For me, it went from dark and interesting - to dark and interesting and possessing that "magic" that draws the viewer in.

Very nice work! Adding the moon definitely made a big difference and lit-up the landscape. Nigh time scenes are always a challenge.
