"Boat Haven across the Marsh" Port Townsend, landscape ,oil painting
A favorite haunt of mine, the boat haven in Port Townsend. There is a wealth of interesting scenes here and several good restaurants tucked into the warehouses and buildings that make up PT's eclectic boating community.
The water shimmering in the light with the reflection of the marsh is very nicely done! I like the colorful subjects as well. You are doing wonderful work lately!
I like how you put the center of interest at the top 1/3 of the canvas.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree, Port Townsend has a wonderful boat yard (or 2). I love to drive through and see the massive hulls out of water.

Thank you Sheila!....I feel my work turning in a new direction.
