"Departure" Seattle Ferry ,oil painting
Anyone who has been to the Kitsap peninsula is familiar with this scene. The gulls follow the ferry out like banners crying "Bonn Voyage"
Thank you I.A.! This is a lousy photo. I think the colors in the sky are more intense. I have also worked it a bit more so I will probably re-post this one..
Ohhh, this reminds me of so many ferry rides across the sound... I hope to see this sight again someday and hear the mournful cry of the gulls! Nicely done!
It is beautiful and so effective with such a limited palate!
