"Lytle Beach Girls" commission painting

I don't get a whole lot of commissions but I had a lot of fun working on this one.........that is after I scraped it once, after a bad start but then kept going and worked it till I was satisfied.......My motto is "never give up" ...and I think it payed off on this painting ......The photo, of course does not represent the original painting very well...., something I have to work on,....setting up a photo booth for taking pictures of paintings with the proper lighting and all......... Sold

  5. Exquisite! There is something very sophisticated about the composition and the variety of the extent of detail. It's perfect.

  6. WOW! Spectacular, Robin! Do tell about your buyer's response... Was it the parents of the children?? They must have been thrilled to pieces...

  8. Hi Diane! Thank you!

It was the parents of the children. They haven't seen the original painting yet but are both very excited by the photos of the finished painting.

I am sure the mom, who had a glimpse of the painting in the initial phase, is much relieved and so am I!

  9. Oh my...this one makes me very homesick for the beautiful scenery around Puget Sound. What a lovely painting, reminds me of my two sisters and me just a few short years ago!! =) I can understand why the client was thrilled! Well done - I'm sure there will be many more commissioned paintings in your future!
