I had a bit of a hard time coming up with a title for this painting. But since I am trying to learn the song on my guitar I named it "Fields of Gold". The song was written by Sting but I love the way Eva Cassidy sings it on her album "Live at Blues Alley".
This is yet another view of the field next to Knowles Studio where I get to work (thanks Leigh!)
6x11 oil on gessoed card framed in black foam core
I'm also an Eva Cassidy fan.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm a fan of this lovely painting too!
oooo....love the depth you've created here. Lovely! I want to meander down the field and get lost in its beauty.
ReplyDeleteThank you Diana!
ReplyDeleteHi Sheila! If you can enter this painting , I have done my job. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI really love the lusciousness of the green and how it takes up so much space.
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty one Robin.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine looking out a window and having something so rich and green as that field.

Beautiful - the colors are so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteI recently moved back to the Seattle area and have been enjoying the familiar landscapes you paint!
