"Bees on Lavender" daily painting

I took a break from my island series to paint the bees on the lavender just outside the studio doors. Leigh has done a great job landscaping the studio grounds and I often see her puttering in the garden.     ahh- I can hear their lazy buzzing... so beautiful, reminds me of my front garden at the end of the fence-line. The bees love that stuff! :-) I knew this painting would find it's new home quickly!
