My son Maury is going to school at the Art Institute of Seattle for game design. This little sidewalk cafe is in Belltown near AIS. When I am walking through the city ...or just about anywhere......I snap pictures with my pocket digital. I don't even look at what I'm taking till I get home and then go through and delete all the junk and keep anything that looks promising. I liked the perspective of the red umbrellas in this shot.12x12 oil on canvas sold

ReplyDeleteI do the same thing. I sometimes just point the camera out my car window when I'm driving [looking at the road of course and not where I'm shooting]. When I look at the shots at home it's like opening presents. Sometimes you get a pair of white socks or cheese cutter but I'm always hoping for a jackpot like you got with this image. Gorgeous!
