"WinterTwilight on Big Valley Rd." oil landscape nocturn painting

We have had some late (for the Puget Sound anyway) winter snow and cold temperatures lately. This house is a few miles away on Big Valley Rd. It seemed an inviting refuge of warmth on a cold winter night.

    "Just" a warm-up painting or not, this is lovely. I can feel the cold snow underfoot and the warmth inside, knocking the snow off my boots.
