"Close of Day" on the Trans Canadian Highway.

I'm working my way slowly back into my normal routine at the studio. Yesterday I did three small paintings as studies for larger work......This was a quick sketch in oil of some images taken while traveling along the Trans Canadian Highway ....somewhere between Calgary and Banff.

    shows a lot of confidence then. I used to challenge myself to execute an oil painting in 15 minutes, you better that!
