"Three's a Crowd" pear, still life oil painting.

"Threes a Crowd"  6x6 oil on panel   SOLD
It's been awhile since I set up to do a series of still life paintings. I'm having fun with it! The challenge is to push myself creating three dimensions using temperature and edges.

Hi Robin! I have to tell you, this is one of the most beautiful and well executed fruit still lifes I've seen. Love it.

  3. excellent! Love the composition, colours and edges you've created. this really works for me. The balance between the busy top of the image and the stillness of the lower 2 thirds makes this. looking forward the the rest of this series.

  4. Thank you Nigel! I like a high horizon in my landscapes and tried it with a still life composition.
