This scene is near a little town on the Yakima Indian Reservation called White Swan. It always amazes me when we cross the mountains, how dramatically the climate and landscape changes.
There are still wild horses in this area near Mt Adams!
Beautiful work. I like both compositions, especially the long thin one. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHappy Painting,
Nora
You know it's a good painting when it works cropped different ways. Like the panoramic view the most.
ReplyDeleteHappy holidays Robin! I've enjoyed finding your Blog this year. Wishing you continued success!
Beautiful, Robin....great color on the distant mountains....
ReplyDeleteHi Nora! Thank you! The short one is just a cropped view of the longer one so that it shows up better on the post.
ReplyDeleteHey Randy, thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Hope this year is a good one for you all!
ReplyDeleteThank you William! I struggled a bit with those mountains.
ReplyDeleteHey Robin! It looks to me like you have been captured by the painting genius ! Your work over this last year is positively amazing ! Am especially noticing your metro series . . . . .a difficult subject that you have tamed and mastered. Hats off to you, Friend.
