"Red Rhodies #6" 10x10 watercolor on arches paper |
I hauled all of these rhododendrons to the studio in a bucket and set them on Leigh's chair....Then had to paint them!! This was the first painting on the first day of the Rhodie works...=]
Another watercolor artist that I really admire is Thomas W Schaller. You can see his work
HERE
Fabulous painting, stunning reds !
ReplyDeletewonderful color, Robin. I think the chair either needs to go or be given more definition. I didn't know what it was until you told me. I like abstract, but I don't think that is what you are eaching for here. The stipples are great and really lend themselves to the rhodies. keep up the great work! where are those roses you talked about?
ReplyDeleteThe hits just keep on coming....way to go.
