I put a lot of hours into this painting trying to keep it loose and painterly, shooting for a more abstract feel .  In the end....Well , I'm my own worst critic!!  I'll leave the critique to you, the viewer!

I really love the under-painting!

No offence but I feel more "magical" power emitted from the under-painting. Probably just me.
