"Hollyhocks" floral still life, oil on canvas
The big freeze is coming...better paint the flowers while I can..I put these in a vase by the window and painted them for warm ups....=]
Hi Robin. This is a really striking piece. The pink hollyhocks against the dark background is super effective and the vase is done just right. I like this one better than so many "formal" floral pieces I've seen. This one fascinates me. Good work.
