After visiting a few vineyards in Walla Walla we went to Benton City about an hour away and stopped to paint at a few more. This is the hedges winery and vineyards which features a beautiful tasting room and stunning grounds.

On another note, I will be participating in the Unity show in Seattle. Here is info from the website and one of the paintings I have submitted. 50% of sales will go to Faceing Homelessness

Call for Rest  20x20 oil on panel

THE EVENT:Unity at the Bemis is a juried and curated charitable art show running Aug 4-6th at The Bemis Building in SoDo, less than 2 blocks from The Seattle Art Fair at CenturyLink Field. The goal of this community-centric art show is to raise at least $25,000 to support local homelessness through the work of Facing Homelessness - a direct-action non-profit that works closely with homeless citizens. The show will feature between 40-50 Northwest artists, with affordable art up for sale throughout the 3-day event.

"Northstar Vineyards" Plein air ,landscape painting by Robin Weiss

"Northstar Vinyards"  9x12 oil on panel  $600

I have been suffering from "bloggers block" again..Something keeps me from the blog..I think about it but just put it off, and the longer I put it off the harder it is to get back to it....funny,..does that happen to you?

Anyway, The Plein Air Washington Artists went to Walla Walla for a paint out. Ann and I stayed at a nice Airbnb place .  You can check it out here

We visited several vineyards in the area and painted studies in preparation for our annual show in the fall at the American Art Company in Tacoma WA. This show always exhibits a plein air study accompanied by a larger studio painting. This years theme is "Valleys to Vineyards"

I have cut back on travel this summer and am working on the house. (remodeling the bathroom) and doing shows and paintouts closer to home. I have also been teaching a bit. If you are interested in a fun workshop experience in the beautiful Pacific Northwest there is still time to sign up for my workshop through the Port Angeles Fine Art Center..You can get the info HERE

Hope you are all enjoying the summer!
