Sometimes you just have to stop and get the ball rolling! That's the way it was for this first painting. My friend Jim Lamb and I headed up to Snoqualmie Pass in Washington state recently to try and find some snow to paint. This first stop by the river was not the best and the snow melted off pretty quickly while we were painting...but that primed us for the good snow to come!

What is Jim's board attached to? It looks like a great light-weight alternative and sturdy as well.??
awesome. lovee snow pass..learned to ski there. I'd say more but keyboarrrrd having problems with rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sticking!

Mary, Jim has a nice pochade box that was made for him by a friend.
