Yea!!.....Finally got to the studio!........It was a blustery windblown day with rain in squalls and little fallen leaf tornadoes dancing across the field...........but a great day to spend in the cozy studio with good friends and lots of food!!.....We painted all day, listening to music and grazing the smorgasbord of goodies that everyone brought...
These sunflowers were rescued from being blown over in Leigh's garden......Seems that fall is here......I love this time of year!! SOLD

Hi Terry, Thanks for visiting!
Yes, fall is here!....I'm going to have a fire in the woodstove tonight.
Hi Annie!...Thank you darlin!!
Just discovered your blog and am enjoying the posts of your work.
This is a really eye popping, wonderful painting of sunflowers. It looks as though you started with a red ground. Is that right? It works really well.
Enjoy the fire. Here in AZ, we have a first fire as soon as the temps dip below 70 degrees!
I love these sunflowers! It looks like the wind is whipping them around. Wow.

This is so gorgeous! Such wonderful texture and the red under-painting looks amazing with it.
Thank you Silvi! Yes, I am using different combinations of a red ground on a lot of my paintings....this one had a hot red underpainting.
I am interested in buying this painting but can't figure out how much it costs or how to go about it. Is it for sale?
