"Waiting for the Kingston Ferry" oil on panel
A familiar scene in the Pacific Northwest. Familys with kids and dogs waiting for the ferry to arrive.
This one is a knock out, Robin! No kidding. The pattern of light/dark is stunning! And that mysterious dog hangin in the shadow is genius. Touchdown, Dude!!! :-))
Thanks you visitors, Pat and Marion!! I have visited both your sites and am super impressed by the quality of the artwork!...thank you for the kind comments and do come back...
This is a fabulous painting. You've shown so much expression with very simple strokes. That is hard to do but you've done it so well. Your work is wonderful.

I always have my eye out for that dramatic contrast of light and dark!

Hi Robin,
Beautiful contrast. You layout is quite expanded from the sketch you showed a while back. Nice work.
