"Port Townsend Boatyard" marine landscape, oil painting

A bit of a different pallet for me........It's my interpretation of the sketch posted earlier using a lot of red and lime green........Don't ask me why , that's just how it turned out......I guess I was groping for complimentary colors .....anyhow I may paint the composition again, I like the way it divides the space.....

Nice use of compositional space...and the complimentary color theme works. I saw the sketch to the finished piece...equally well done and the transition is great. I like your style!

Hey, Robin, I really like this. I like the composition a lot. I love the reflections in the windows of the building. And I like the colors - and wondering about the colors. This is a piece I could look at again and again and again. It's inspiring.

It is a new palette for you - and it's great fun. You are a chance taker though- That's exactly why your work is so extraordinary and this is a perfect example.
