"Fields of Gold" oil on gessoed card

I had a bit of a hard time coming up with a title for this painting. But since I am trying to learn the song on my guitar I named it "Fields of Gold". The song was written by Sting but I love the way Eva Cassidy sings it on her album "Live at Blues Alley".

This is yet another view of the field next to Knowles Studio where I get to work (thanks Leigh!)

I'm also an Eva Cassidy fan.

And I'm a fan of this lovely painting too!

oooo....love the depth you've created here. Lovely! I want to meander down the field and get lost in its beauty.

I really love the lusciousness of the green and how it takes up so much space.

This is really pretty one Robin.
Can't imagine looking out a window and having something so rich and green as that field.

Beautiful - the colors are so vibrant.

I recently moved back to the Seattle area and have been enjoying the familiar landscapes you paint!
