"Flower Barn" Skagit Co. tulip festival, oil landscape painting

I found one more painting of the Tulip Festival that I forgot to post......Here it is!....I like the way that the mountains were rendered in the back ground ...but when I showed it to my wife, she said "nice clouds honey"...At least they receded into the distance the way I wanted...

Eh, clouds, mountains: What's the diff?! You're right, they do recede and WOW, those tulips pop. The barn looks lovely too, so simple & perfect!! Nice one!!

Hey man ...I've been watching you on the DPW site. I'm really liking the last several paintings. The cows and the farm scenes are way cool.
Don't listen to your wife on the "clouds"... Clearly they are beautiful mountains fading into the distance. I get the same stuff from my wife. Sorta deflating isn't it?

Thank you Audrey!!

Exactly Diane! As long as the painting works well as a whole, what's the diff!! Thank you!

Brian, Thanks!! I have to say, my wife is my biggest fan and best support......but she is not an artist!..=]

Thanks Raymond!!

Robin, love this one, too. But I liked the one with up close better even if you thought it overworked. I know how that goes. I've had to scrape a few paaintings. LOL. Still waiting on those other colors, dude!!
