| "Kingston Marsh" 6x8 oil on panel $350 |
There is a salt marsh not far from home in Kingston that has always caught my eye as a beautiful natural painting location. I have painted it from different vantage points but have not been very successful in getting a great painting from this great location. I stopped again last week and did a small 6x8 study. The time of day and the light quality has a lot do to with how the painting turns out. It's a good idea to record time of day and location either in a notebook or on the back of the painting. I carry a marker in my back pack for that reason.
