Heres another in my breaking out of the box series. I spent the weekend setting up for " Arts in The Woods" , It will take place Nov. 10th,11th,12th, next weekend . I will be at the Leigh Knowles studio on Noll rd in beautifull Poulsbo WA. So I got no painting done, except for this abstract. I used up all the leftover paint on my pallet, an idea from Diane Whitehead. Sorry about the photo . Its awfull.

Leaps and bounds here Rob. This is a beautiful abstract. You're right about the photo, though. Can you replace it with a sharper image?

I, too, very often use whatever paint is left over on my palette - to tint a canvas for later, to do a very small color study, to do what I call a "what if" piece. How amazing that the quick painting done with 'leftovers' often gets more attention than a laborious work. And it's fun ! Keep it up :o) bjw
