5th and Chester
This alley is so steep that the pavement is rutted where rear bumbers have been scraping it. The shadows on the white building drew my attention to this scene. SOLD
O famous One, abandon ye not those whose kind words gaveth comfort in the beginning when your renown spreadeth not across the land. Lest there be a void where once were glad tidings.
Robin.. anonymous is a tough act to follow! Your outdoor work is really strong and not the cute souvenir shop variety. I'm not much for plein air stuff unless it packs a punch.. and yours delivers. I agree with Wray... this is excellent work!
This painting has all the ingredients of a 'winner'..... dynamic composition, harmonious color scheme, bold simple shapes, along with diverse paint application and texture. Looove that shadow on the house! eye candy...yummm

This is one of your best, Feels solid, clear center of interest, good feeling. Bask my son, absorb the glory.
Ron: Not only did I turn my computer off for a few days, I took my TV out to the shed. I'm headed over to your site now.
Thanks William! I appreciate your comments.
Very cool urban landscape. I've scraped my car on roads like this. Got you bookmark and will definitely be back.
Love the new work, Robin. You've nailed the feeling of Seattle back streets.
