Not sure if I improved this painting....the original was a bit dark and without a real focal point so I threw it on the easel after a cup of strong Starbucks coffee and started to play with it...(Don't try this at home!)....I think the new version has more for the viewer to work with.....

Robin,
I like the mood in the reworked version. It worked!
Starbucks huh? I know you advised not to "try this at home". What if I went to an industrial park?
LOVE the newer version! Love that glow/halo around the moon.
Thanks Pat!
Sheila, Good suggestion! Don't forget your hard hat!
Thanks!...=]
I like this darkness affect, very nice paintings!!!
I really like the changes you made. For me, it went from dark and interesting - to dark and interesting and possessing that "magic" that draws the viewer in.
Very nice work! Adding the moon definitely made a big difference and lit-up the landscape. Nigh time scenes are always a challenge.
Rob, I 've been asleep at my end of the blogsphere. Still think your stuff is some of the best. And Yes! This painting works much better. Enticing!!

Great to see you today at the Pho place. Your paintings are wonderful. Keep doing your passion.
