"Reflecting Fall" oil landscape painting, Arboretum series

I have been working on this painting in between all the Christmas activities. Hope the day was filled with love and laughter among friends and family for you, as it was for me.......now it's time to get back to work.........I love my job!!..=]
Postscript: I have added an updated photo of this painting. After looking at it this morning, I can see how far off the color was. Without a good camera and photo set up it is sometimes hard to get an accurate image. The one at top is a lot closer.......I'm working on finding the right light box and camera set up so I won't have this problem in the future.

I know what you feel about capturing a perfect pic...it's not what I worry about as I just want the painting to be perfect! Love this painting, wow! Love it, as I grew up on the east coast and miss fall very much. Looking forward to more wonderful paintings in the New Year by you!!

Beautiful painting and capture of the smooth reflections in a quiet pool. The top picture sure shows the colors better. It's not easy getting the color balance right when shooting indoors.
