"Elise" 

Although there are a few paintings that I have not posted yet from 2020, "The Way Home" is the first painting completed  New Years Day, 2021.  It will be included in a Featured Artist Exhibition of recent paintings at the Cole Gallery in Edmonds, Washington Through the month of February, 2021. Thinking forward to the new year but recalling the good things that happened in a very challenging 2020, I would like to thank all of you who have followed the blog, my website and other social media venues for your kind and encouraging comments, letters and likes. A big thank you to the collectors who have supported me by continuing through the pandemic restrictions to buy art, enabling me to keep creating. 

A special thank you to my family, especially my wife Ann who has encouraged me from the beginning to make art my profession. My son, Maury who is also a great artist and has been with me on many painting adventures. Ann's family who I have adopted as my own, who always encourage and inspire me, especially our grandkids who give us so much joy. I find myself pounding my pockets for the phone camera  to take pictures of them for use in paintings all the time. The above painting "Elise" is our youngest grand and was a Christmas present for Ann.

Thanks also to the galleries who represent me and have managed through a lot of hard work and thinking outside the box to keep the lights on and their galleries operating in spite of restricted opportunities to open the doors for exhibitions and openings.
