| "Memorial Park Rose Garden" 16x8 oil on panel $800 |
I like to paint a tall skinny canvas if the subject fits the format. I thought it worked well for this painting of the rose garden at Memnorial Park in Omaha during the Heartland Plein Air Festival.
A guy walking his dog came by and said "hey that's my nieghbors house, do you want me to text her?" "Of course, text her" I said! She came by, loved the painting and said she would come to the gala opening and buy it. Yes! That does happen on occasion and it's a great way to sell a painting. Unfortunately she never showed up and that occasionaly happens as well. You learn to let it go. The painting will sell or it won't , move on to the next one..=] It's all good!
All that said, if you love this painting and are interested in beautifing your home with original art, call Debra Grosser Gallery at 402-592-6552. She will help you!
