My last exploring trip to the city brought me to the train yards under SafeCo Field......lots of interesting scenes down there!.....This back lit view of the tracks and distant buildings captured my interest and I had to try and portray the hazy nostalgia of distant places connected by miles of rails.....6x8 oil on panel sold contact robinweiss@earthlink.net

Hey, Robin, I love the trainyard pieces, painting and sketches. I really like the low color in the painting, and the rusted whatever it is in the foreground. It's a nice piece, mysterious and inviting. Gee, I like your work.

Hey Bro, Sell your paintings, but KEEP your sketches. That's a record of your thoughts, process and your growth. Most artists I know would never part with their sketches or sketchbooks. Y'gotta save something for YOU and your family.
