The marina still has fishing boats that come and sell salmon in season. They often moor the boats by the seawall at the mouth of the harbor.

Many old towns by the sea just drip with charm and character, and your painting shows it well. I like the panoramic format that so clearly places the harbor deep in the "fiords" of northern Washington. Beautiful.

The cropped image of the boat in the first pic is certainly appealing enough, but extending the painting to include the wharf and background mist shrouded trees evokes a whole new range of emotions. Very well, done, Robin.

I have "sampled" lutefisk. I can say, as a norwegian, it is sort of depressing to think that lutefisk is as good as it gets.
