I Thought we could use a taste of summer about now so am posting this studio painting I did last year of the rose bush by my moms house. I added the butterfly for a focal point and just to see if I could pull it off. I'll let you be the judge.

Update on this painting!  After making the gallery rounds and not selling, I have reworked and refreshed it and it will now be going to the J Go Galley in Winslow on Bainbridge Island and will be part of the May, 2023, Spring Flower Exhibition. This will be a group exhibition opening on First Friday Gallery Walk in Winslow
