This painting will not be at Arts in the Woods this year because it is in one of my favorite places in the country, Crested Butte Colorado!  The Oh Be Joyful Gallery in CB is owned and operated by artist Nick Reti. Nick along with an amazing staff has been representing some of the top plein air and representational artists in the nation. A big bonus of being represented by the Oh Be Joyful is getting to travel south to Colorado every couple years to paint the stunning beauty of the area.  The painting above was done from plein air and photo ref. done summer of 2020 near Lake Irwin just outside Crested Butte.
