"Snowed In" winter landscape, oil painting

This is the last of the paintings of the heavy snow we had last week. Everything is beginning to thaw now and I have been painting the patches of snow left on the ground ...which has it's own challenges of texture , form and color..I am glad to be mobile once again ....but will miss the peaceful silence and beauty of the big Christmas snow storm of 2008....

5x7 oil on panel . sold

By the way ...I will be showing my recent work at Checkers coffee shop and gallery for the month of January...I'll let you know if and when there will be an opening reception....would love to see any of you that can make it out...

Thank you for bringing snow to me in Pensacola, Florida. It has been a pretty balmy December!

Are these the result of your xmas titanium white present. If so, you are using it well!

Hey Rob! My heart jumped a bit when I saw these pieces. You really have the feel of it, Man! I can't believe how much your art has grown in the last year. Keep on keepin on, Pardner! You really have the touch!
